Directions

Philadelphia Women’s Center is located in an office building on Appletree Street, between 7th and 8th Streets. The address of the building – 777 Appletree – is posted in large numbers near the entrance, and the office is located on the 7th Floor.

Subway via the Market/Frankford El

East or Westbound, get off at the 8th Street stop; exit to street level at 8th and Market Street. Strawbridge’s and Ross department stores will be on the corner of the north side of Market St. Cross Market Street and travel 1 block north along 8th Street toward Arch Street (8th Street is one-way and you will be walking against the flow of traffic). Appletree Street is located ½ block north of Arch, just past the parking lot on the right-hand side.

Trolley and Regional Rail

Take one of the green line trolleys to the last stop (Juniper Station/13th St.) and exit to street level. Walk east on Market Street (street numbers will decrease) approximately 5 blocks to 8th Street. Follow directions above.

Take one of the regional rail lines to Market East Station, and exit to street level (onto Market Street). Walk east on Market Street (street numbers will decrease) to 8th Street. Follow directions above.

Or

Transfer from one of these lines to the EL (Market-Frankford Blue Line) and ride to 8th and Market Streets. Exit at the street level and follow directions from above.

Bus via SEPTA

Take all bus routes (East/West) to 8th and Market Streets. Follow directions above.

Driving Directions

North or 95 N/S

• Take 95 N/S to the I-676/US-30/Callowhill Street exit towards Central Philadelphia/Independence Hall
• Turn Right onto Callowhill Street
• Turn Left onto 8th Street
• Turn Left onto Appletree Street

From the North or West via 476 and 76 East

• Take US-22 West toward Harrisburg
• Take the I-476 toward Philadelphia/Scranton
• Merge onto I-476 S toward Philadelphia and South/East-West turnpike
• Merge onto I-76 East exit towards Philadelphia
• Merge onto the Vine Street Expressway/I-676 E/US-30 E, on the left, toward Central Philadelphia
• Take the 8th Street exit
• Turn right onto 8th Street
• Turn left onto Appletree Street

Parking Information
Parking lots conveniently surround our facility and take both cash and credit cards. Limited metered parking is also available on Appletree Street and Arch Street.
